Woolf Series
Inspired by a used copy of “A Room of Ones Own” by Virginia Woolf.
Each artwork incorporates a page or pages from this book that I had sitting on a shelf for many years.
It had clearly been a study book for students, with notes written on the pages in two different hands.
I found and still find it so interesting how much of what Virginia wrote is still relevant today.
This series that incorporates collage elements with mixed media are for me an open edition. I feel that I can go back to it, add to it and grow with it.
We will see how that goes.
