Moving In
Over the past couple of months I have been rebuilding this website on a different platform. I wanted a cleaner streamlined website that would serve as a starting point for those interested in my work and the things happening at the studio and Art Center.
It’s taking some time as I have decided to do a drastic cut to the portfolio and feature newer works. I may add an archive at a later date, but for now I want to keep things up to date and not clutter the space with twenty year old work.
No Mas: Collage, mixed media on canvas. Available in online store.
ART FOR SALE - I am moving more into DIY mode when it comes to selling my work. I am adding several works here to purchase, with US and International shipping as well as local pick up and delivery/installation.
If you see something you waould like more info about feel free to fill out our contact form. I will respond asap.
Studio visits are always welcome by appointment. But lately I am opening my door less and less, as I am utalizing the entire space for work in progress. I do still open occassionally and when there are events at the art center. After switching back to oils a few weeks ago, it’s not the best situation to just have an open door when wet paint is everywhere. “If you are not familliar with the Morrow Arts Center, The building is an old school house that has been converted to studios and retail shops. The first floor where my space is located has retail shops with regular hours, so people are in and out during the day.
The ezzkatt Studio Graphics are now on a stand alone website at ezkattstudio.com. For those who frequent my studio and are familiar with the cat graphics and pop art cats. This is where some of the items may be purchased. This website is also being updated to include a better selection of products. Due to rising cost and international shipping, I am unable to keep stocking some of the popular items such as pop art cat pillows, banners and totes.
There are also links to a drop ship site that sells a large selection of the cat art, if you are interested in what is available. All info is on the ez katt site.
So moving seems to be contageous. I just opened a new account on Medium, where I will be moving all of my work in NOTES FROM THE VALLEY. I saved the original wordpress articles, but with everything being new, I decided not to upload them right away (if ever) and am starting fresh with this new coluum.
Check it out and follow Notes From The Valley on Medium.
If you are not familiar with it, I write about art, culture, politics, current events etc.. But mostly about how my work as an artist is shaped by all of those things.
Me at the Radiance Show, with my painting Bring Your Soul To Work Day
In The News; Recent Events.
Thrilled to mention that my painting Bring Your Soul To Work Day (Three in Ten) That was featured in the Radiance Show at ADC Gallery has sold. It was one of the larger pieces in the Animal Farm Series and the first one that I had stretched.
I have since stretched a few more and some of them are available thru ADC Gallery in Cincinnati Ohio. Others, some stretched and some rolled are being added to the online store here on the website.
Thanks as always to the great team at ADC.
HEY MIAMI:
More great news. I will have artwork exhibited at Red Dot during Miami’s Art Basel week in December of this year. Along with other artists from ADC Gallery, my work will be featured in large seven foot wide space located near the main entry.
The work has yet to be chosen, maybe yet to be painted. Can’t really say at this point. I am still on the fence about being there in person. Lots to think about.
That’s it for now. I am sure i left some things out.
Until next time. See ya!
